Rusiñol family pantheon

Santiago Rusiñol y Prats (painter, writer and playwright) and his brother Alberto Rusiñol y Prats (businessman and politician) commissioned Domènec Balet to build a family pantheon that was built on August 17, 1892 on plot number 16 of the Via Santa Eulalia 3rd Group of the Montjuic Cemetery.

Curiously, the name of the architect does not appear on the Historical Route sign of the cemetery.

Santiago Rusiñol is buried in another pantheon with his wife Maria Lluïsa Denís, very close to the family pantheon.
